I am a certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with advanced training in psychotherapy and medication management. I particularly enjoy working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, ADHD, and the adjustment--both physical and psychological--to parenthood.

My background as a Community Health Nurse for pregnant and parenting families, and my understanding of the hormonal and biological factors that are intertwined with emotional issues during this time, make me an excellent choice for prenatal and postpartum anxiety and depression. I also have experience working with PTSD, substance abuse, and attachment issues.

As a nurse I take an individualized and holistic approach to both psychotherapy and medications. My therapy is relationship-based, and draws from supportive, psychodynamic and cognitively based traditions. I am also able to prescribe medication when appropriate.
